The ThinkImpact online learning platform is specially designed for the Capacity Building and Mentorship (CBMP) network of universities involved in Ethiopia’s Data Use Partnership (DUP) II project. Under this project, ThinkPlace intends to collaborate with the universities to develop innovative prototypes to transform the data use culture within health facilities at Ethiopia’s Woreda (district) level. Improving the data-use culture in health facilities will significantly enhance Ethiopia’s health system transformation and result in high-quality health service delivery.

ThinkImpact will complement the in-person training delivered in November 2023 and the 12-month hands-on learning period during the DUP project phases. This comprehensive approach allows learners to gain practical insights and empowers them to tackle real-world challenges using Human-centered Design(HCD) methodologies. Successful learners will be crucial in fostering a Design-thinking culture within their organizations.

The material is curated by ThinkPlace Ethiopia, guided by a nuanced understanding of the learners’ context and through the lens of the ThinkPlace Design System. The content bite-sized text, videos, audios and complementary reading materials, providing rich support for self-paced learning . This learning platform is open to all CBMP Universities, Ethiopia’s Ministry of Health stakeholders, and the DUP II project partners keen on mastering HCD and its applicability in Public sector contexts.
